My sister died of cancer 4 months ago, she had sold her home and all her money was used towards her treatment. There is no estate left, as a matter of fact I can't collect the additional expenses that I had with her funeral. After her funeral, I did what I thought was right, called her creditors provided them with copies of her death certificate, returned her car. Little did I know, that this act of mine would open a pandora's box, because these companies are sending letters addressed to her estate and I called them explain to them what happened provide them with copies of her death certificate but they don't get it, once another agency comes into the picture I start all over again and is very frustrating what is going on. What can I do?

Is it that most people are just too ignorant to do it and need to point to a book or someone else? Are people really that shallow, that they have no ideas or culmination of information in their minds that can help anyone?

yup, she was confronted and in fact she copped attitude and said she wasnt a mind reader. I have asked this chick if I could help her atleast 3 different times and all she ever says is no.

WHY HIRE SOMEONE IF YOU GONNA STAY THERE? DUH???

I have since moved on. I plan on updating rez and sending out tomorrow. Did I mention this is at a dealership? Workerbee owner does not care, and him and the current controller are thick as thieves. No wonder he doesnt want her to leave.

I have certainly learned a lesson here. If a job is too good to be true, prolly is. And no more dealership jobs for sure! No future.

3 1/2 years ago, we got "digital cable", and didn't like it, nor the cost. The cable company told us to give back the cable box, so we arranged a time for them to pick it up and left the cable box on the doorstep, which was picked up. We opted for regular cable, and was billed for the next 3 1/2 years like nothing was wrong, or that we owed any money for this box.

We just recently canceled our cable, and now our cable company says they never picked up our cable box, and that we owe them $200. Remember, this is 3 1/2 years after we supposedly had this box. I've called them probably five times now, and someone says they'll have a manager call me back, that never happens. I've even gone in person to the local business office, spoke with someone, where I was promised again to have someone call me back about this, still no call back.

I'm out of ideas, and now I have a collection agency on my case for the $$. How can I "make some noise" so someone can fix this problem?

Thanks!

There is a hosptial here in cleveland called Metro health, its one of the biggest hospitals around here, and they offer a rating program where you go to a counselor and are rated a 1-5 for financial help, 5 covering about everything and 1 covering about 10 percent of your bills. I am going to make an appointment and hope to get a 5, I am unemployed and have been since last October. They didnt ask anything abou tmy husband and how much he makes or any of that just said for me to come in w/ my own papers, so im hoping they base this on just me. Has anyone else ever had this done? Yes, I'm a college student and recently moved to a new city/environment - still looking for an apartment. I believe I have overall good credit history. I'm 22 male and want to rent an apartment. But the problem is once I tell them that I'm a student, they tell me I need a co signer!

What can you recommend so that I can rent the apt???

I think I won't be able to use a co signer for that! If I tell them that I work, they told me they would check with my employer!

What are my options? Could you recommend something! Thanks a lot!

My wife's company is over-budget because the hourly workers have been having to take so much over time due to poor staffing (or mismanaging the schedule). To compensate they are forcing all salaried workers to take Thursday and Friday off and use their paid leave. My wife is pregnant and is saving her paid leave for the pregnancy.

So does the company have a legal right to do this? If not, who should she talk to about this situation?
