Hi, I'm trying to hang in there until my penalty is over to refinance in Feb.2008. My question is that with the market being down, wonder if I can refinance for lower rate? My 1st is 598,000 with 10% rate and 2nd $21,000. I just wanted to refinance my 1st. Trying to hang on paying $5292 a month. The problem is that market is down and checking online my house is worth $620,000. Will it even go down in the near future when I can refinance and will that be a problem? Also my credit has gone down because of 1 late mortgage payment, from 650 to 583-610(3 credit score). Also another problem is that my husband is self employed in Oct.2006.
What is my chances to refinance for lower rate in Feb.2008?

Allthough most day traders lose, it seems to me all day traders are a drain on resources and not improving productivity compared with a potential world in which trades were limited to longer time periods. why not make stronger laws limiting day trading or tax them more... out of existence?

All right here's a little about me first. I am 21 years old with no college degree (1 full year though), 1 daughter (just turned 1 year old) and a wife of 2 mths. I just left Wal-Mart because they pay highschool wages for everyone and have two jobs being offered to me at the moment. One would start next Tuesday which is Procter & Gamble. (The distributor of your toothe paiste and body ointments) I'd be driving a forklift loading semi's and what not started at $12 an hour with possible 50Cent raises every 90 days for first year. Offer number 2 is FerrellGas. Here i'd be delivering propane around town putting my class B CDL to good use. They'd start out at 12.50 an hour and raise who knows when. P&G is full time Ferrellgas is part. I am currently taking 2 classes in college and both jobs would work around them. What should i do?? I'm leaning towards deliveryman (outside work, work 8-4 M-F) Where as P&G 2p.m.-10p.m. sometimes Sat. and Sundays. What should i do??

We are buying our first home but have hit a snag with the seller...after offering and jumping back and forth over prices she has came down to 41500. and we are saying 40000. I know it's only 1500. difference but she is taking all the appliances with her and the home is only worth 40. I really love this house and I've already started getting ready for the move but my husband will not budge and neither will she. She really wants to sell it due to moving out of state in a few months and getting married. And needs the money for her expenses. But how can we get her to come down? The realtor keeps calling and wondering what we are going to do and we keep telling him we are stuck at 40,000. and that's all we are offering. I really want this house and would hate not to get it over a few thousand. HELP!

In April 2007 I applied for a job in Texas and I live in Michigan. I was interviewed by human resource, manager, senior manager and a co-worker. All the phone interview went well and the senior manager asked me to come on my expense for the interview I told him thats not possible since at that time I didn't have funds. The trip would of cost me $1000 and no guarantee of a job he said there were 4 people on last stage. Then I never hear from him nor I called them because I knew there answer. Then in May I get a call from HR calling the job has changed to higher position for which i'm not qualified. I see the job opened again in August I found that from the manager when I applied him and he told me to apply on website and yes another position opened. I applied on Aug 27 on the company website and have not heard from them. I'm really interested in this job and willing now to take the chance and pay but I also feel I found so desperate.

A new super came in moments after a co-worker ran out of the room all upset about something. Her friend was right behind her. Super "where is everyone" I said "J" got all upset about something a ran out and "Y" chased after her, so me a super twiddling thumbs they did not come back for 45 mins. Next Day "J" rips me a new one for saying she left upset. Duh... I was being nice, I gave a good reason why she was not there, not, I don't know, which would make her look bad. These work place drama queens drive me crazy. We recently had someone else fired for work place aggression. I have plenty of stories, not enough time.

my fiance and I were in a rush to buy a home beacuse the lease on our apartment was up, and we made the mistake of purchasing a refurbished mobile home and had it moved to a community outside of the city that we work in. with rising gas prices and our son having to stay with his grandparents during the week to get a better education we want to move. but with it being a refurbished home it is faling apart, and no matter how much money we put into it somethings are unfixable because the people who did the refurbishing just pieced the thing together with glue and duct tape and scrap pieces they found laying around. when they moved it in we asked them several times to fix a broken window that they caused when moving it. to this day 7 years later it is still broken. what can we do so that we can get rid of this house but not have it looming over our heads for the next 7-10 years?

I am conducting some research, looking to get into my first non-cd investments. When looking at the history of funds, is looking at the ones with the best 1,3, and 5 year returns a reliable way to go? I mean you can look at some ETFs and see a 30-45% return in the last year. Obviously there is no guarantee that history will repeat, but in general, is a good place to start by looking at the return rates?

If not, how else might I start to limit the seemingly endless number of funds?

Thanks for any help

I received buyer's approval and an earnest deposit of 6,000. Two days before closing the buyer's agent called to say that the deal will not close! I received the denial letter which stated unacceptabe credit as the reason why the buyer would not get financing. Is my seller entitled to any portion of the deposit?? Also another problem is that the buyer mistakenly signed august instead of july. Contract was executed july 19th. Closing was supposed to be august 15th.

if you've been a victim of debit card fraud, how successful have you been in recovering your money? someone did this using my debit card number (about $150) and i'm not sure how long it will take to get my money back or if i will get it back at all. i cancelled the card and contacted my bank and everything but i'm just wondering how likely it is to get everything back.
agh, how do people even get this information? i rarely used this card number online...
