I work at a day care center as a teacher in the two's room. I just recently got my degree and have been in this room since the summer. With school starting enrollment is high so they need people bad but I am realizing how much I don't like my job. I feel really guilty for wanting to put in my two weeks because my boss has tried so hard to help me with all the things I struggle with but I am not happy and the children deserve someone who enjoys their job.

She is not only verbally abusive to me but to my coworkers. She will literally rant and rave at her employees. She was screaming so loudly at one of us one time, that the construction workers remodeling down the hall could hear her (they were talking about it later). We have tried talking to her about it, but she gets mad and defensive. HR won't do anything about it because she brings in so much money. I turned in my notice on Friday, I can't take anymore and I'm severely depressed. The last AA before me said she was able to go off her meds and doesn't get migraines anymore since she quit. Transferring to another department won't work because she harassed the last AA in her new dept. so that she had to leave the company altogether just to get away from her. The AA before that is in another department in the same company and still gets tears in her eyes when she talks about her time with my boss. I can't afford an attorney. What, if anything can I do? Isn't what she's doing illegal?

Situation: I participated in a competetition which encourages students to invent useful items and supposedly "won" it. FYI: It is a metal, retractable pole that can be used for various purposes a bamboo pole serves. Now, i have to find SOMEONE who can make a prototype of it. Every time I ask a question on this site, I can always expect a majority of judgemental people who know absolutedly about my situation....in fact, they are just rude. Let me clarify. I used the word "friend" in order to keep it simple. My friend happens to be my adoptive Mother and the loan was her idea. She is fully aware of would could happen but it is worth it to her because she wants what is best for me after ...well...being gone for so long, so to speak. She is also my financial planner so she is fully aware of any consequences and no friendships will be ruined by this transaction. NOW, please just answer my question which was "with my decent salary and her decent credit, what are the chances that the loan will be approved?"And if anyone recommends a bank, etc whom they have great results with, please let me know as I am researcing.

Harvard recently started charging $0 tuition for students of families of incomes less than $40,000 a year. why would anyone want to go to Harvard when 1. they would not fit in. 2. they would be labeled as an elitist (and this would not help in their future job prospects. aren't there other schools such as OU, UNM, NMSU UT etc that have full scholarships, and don't ya all think i'd be happier at one of those?

it is a new target store opening int he area and i had an ont he spot interview by 2 managers, and i believe the interview went very well it was an hour an 20 min interiview total, and they said they would get back to me very very very very soon and i applied for a team member sales assossiates, and i recieved the a call from them the following day and they said can you come in monday to speak with the human resource director, and i asked what it is in regards to and they said about your hiring but i cant disucss more than that........ i also supplised therm eiwht a copy of my resume and i was an HR assisstant......... any know why they havnt hired me but they r hiring everyone el;se buty i have a third interview could it be they want to give me a better postion...... thanks

I went out to a restaurant and my debit card was stolen somehow when it was being ran for my meal. I called my bank and they canceled the card and are issuing a new one. Is there anything else that I should do? Can you believe the waitress still made me pay for my dinner after my card was stolen in her possession?

I have a job offer that pays 20% more than I was earning at my last job. However, I have had very positive interviews for another position that would pay approx 40% more than last job. The 1st job is with a very stable progressive company in an administrative position, M-F with good benefits. The other job is with a successful company but working w/ends and will be more pressure and is store based rather than a corporate environment. I feel as tho I can do either job altho the lower paid job seems a little more laid back and the promotional prospects are better.

Which one should I go for?

PS. I did already try a store based position sim iliar to the higher paying job and I hated it.
