I have a job offer that pays 20% more than I was earning at my last job. However, I have had very positive interviews for another position that would pay approx 40% more than last job. The 1st job is with a very stable progressive company in an administrative position, M-F with good benefits. The other job is with a successful company but working w/ends and will be more pressure and is store based rather than a corporate environment. I feel as tho I can do either job altho the lower paid job seems a little more laid back and the promotional prospects are better.

Which one should I go for?

PS. I did already try a store based position sim iliar to the higher paying job and I hated it.

sounds like you already know what you want to do. just go with what you said. (the lower paid one.) i think that that is the one you should do unless you wont be able to make ends meet with the lower paid job which i think you can

The first job is with a progressive company which means that you will have plenty of opportunity to move up and earn as much as the second job. On top of it you like the first job more. Good Luck!

Watch this quick movie, http://sixsevenx.MyWorldMovie.com

I found this site when I was looking for Pizza Hut coupons to print out on my computer.
I joined them with out knowing exactly what I was getting into, but I'm glad I did.
I went back to the site the following day to find that I had made money
and I didn't do a darn thing!

You may have answered your own question. Take the job you will 'like' and that has better long-term promotional prospects.
