I had the same thing with Target for the same job title. They told me that for those positions they have what is called a round robin where you interview on your second or third time all day with many managers. I'm in management with Wal Mart and I thought that was a bit extreme so I passed on it.

It could very well be or they HR person just needs to do there job and get all the legal paperwork done before you are hired although usually payroll would take care of that. My guess would be that they just might be looking to put you in a different position because a sales associate position does not require 3 interviews.

Good Luck

this is how target does their interview and team member is a type of management there, im a walmart associate, im called a department manager, target calls theirs team members, for some reason they do 3 interviews, 5 years ago when i started walmart they did 2, and now they interview you on the spot if they plan to hire you they will send you for your drug test, when that comes back your in, i have a friend that left walmart to go to target this is what they did to her, got her in on the assumption that she would be full time, at 32 hours, walmart full time is 40, anyway once she was in the door they cut her hours down to almost nothing she quit and now is back at walmart, i dont know they always come back. but good luck to you im sure you will get hired.

Thats the way all the major stores do it. I had a total of four interviews over three days before being hired at Walmart.

Go talk to the HR director on Monday ,
How would we know ? We were not there .

And maybe try not to be sooooo hyper ,
Wore me out just trying to read your spiel . . .
After all , it is just a target job , not anything serious .

It sounds like they might want to put you in a different position and that they might want you to meet with a manager in that area. I hope it works out for you. Good luck.
