I want a profit. What do I invest in? A business? Stock? Bonds? An inventor? Real Estate? I have about 50K to invest. I expect it to make much more money.

Depending on whether you want to see short term or long term gains would depend on what you need to be investing in.
I suggest a diverse group of funds that have alot of Biotechnology and Specialized Semiconductor Industries in the makeup of them.
New medicines and treatments for health and the emergence of Solar Technology ( Semiconductor ) areas are seeing more and more growth recently.

If you haven't done much investing before, going with a couple mutual funds in a large, recognized mutual fund company would probably be your best bet. Each fund has a stated objective, and the ones you would choose would depend on things like your age and how much risk you are comfortable with.
