Why can't people answer questions with "to the point" brief concise answers that are workable?

Is it that most people are just too ignorant to do it and need to point to a book or someone else? Are people really that shallow, that they have no ideas or culmination of information in their minds that can help anyone?

No, its b/c when we have ignorant, shallow people asking ignorant & shallow questions like "how does one buy low & sell high?" (which you actually did), it requires explanation. If someone answered "buy it at $20 & sell it at $50" (which is so extremely obvious that the question itself becomes moronic) would that have been satisfactory?

Some times questions need more detail than yes or no. People on here have asked "what stock do I need to buy?" & that is not a question that any responsible person can or should answer without additional details.

Sorry that your attetion span cant handle more that a 3 word answer.

Because many answers require a certain level of background knowledge. To give someone a brief "to the point" answer, without a fundamental understanding in place, is useless and often risky.

Seriously dude, check out your own answer on Judgment Day.

There are very often many facets that need to be considered. I would hope that the askers appreciate a little detail when it's appropriate.
