Whats the best number to put down on the W4 form.

I like extra money but don't want to pay alot come April.

I also heard people say"Break even, owe nothing and get nothing." is that possible?

Right now I have a 0 on the form but I want to change it. Is that possible to change after just putting the 0 down a week ago or do you have to wait a certain while.

And what is the difference between a 1 and a 2 on the form. What happens when you put either, I want a detailed explanation of each number.

my dad was under allstate when he was involved in a car accident a couple of months ago. now he has changed to state farm and just today the other guy involved in the accident is suing him. who does he go to? allstate because that was his insurance when the accident happened or the new insurance which is state farm? thanks in advance...

My sister leased a new vehicle 5 months ago but lost her job and now cannot afford the lease. If she gives the car back or lets them come and pick it up...what happens? Will she owe the full amount of the lease or just for the months she has had it, since a lease is like renting a vehicle. I know what happens if a regular purchase is repossessed, but not in a lease situation.

I would really like to be involved with music when I get out of high school. I am actually realling interesting in finding a stable, if possible part-time, career in music. Although I do play guitar, I do not want to be in a band of any sort. I really don't want to travel either, unless it is just occasional. What would be a good job that I could consider? .... From unfair pay??? What I mean is my employer told me that I was "exempt" from getting paid time and a half after 8 hours of work... and I usually work 14 hours a day, which I also heard that under the California Labor Law that if you work more than 12 hours a day you get paid Double?!?!?
I really would like to know if there is anyone out there that understands my question, and if I'am protected from this unfair pay of my employer???
Does anyone know where I can find hard solid proof that California has Laws protecting workers from this type of "exemption"???
I would appreciate it very much if anyone really understands if I qualify for time and a half and double time as a Bus operator in the state of California???

Just wanted to know if you had more than $100,000 in the bank in either your checking or savings account, more than $100,000 is not covered if something happens? What are you supposed to do if you have more than $100,000? Put it in different banks? What do celebrities who get paid millions do with their money? Do they invest it all? Just a silly question, but was in line in bank and didn't quite understand it. Thanks!

i am currently a college student, and wish to invest my hard earned $2000 in something worthwhile. i have already tried forex and have lost about $1500. right now, i am so unsure of what to invest. i am so dissapointed in forex. why, you ask am i so eager to invest my money? i wish to open a business in the near future. however, i have very little money. I need a good investment, so when the time comes i will have everything i need. so what's my best bet? future? stocks? forex? mutual funds?
