Hi!

My grandpa gave all of his grandchildren IRA accounts that matured about 5 years ago. Most of the gc have used the money for college, weddings, house downpayments, etc. Luckily my parents funded my college and i am not planning a wedding anytime soon( only 23yearsold). My mom told me to take my IRA money and put it into a CD or something with a better %. How do I make my IRA money tangible? I have all the paperwork but i don't understand it? Do i just bring it to my bank and ask them to transfer the money to a checking account? It's about 10k right now.. I appreciate all your help! thanks everyone.

I've had several problems with my personal assistant over the last 6 months and have addressed this with her several times. Today I had a meeting with her and told her over the next 30 days I will be reviewing her work and re-evaluating our business relationship. I feel so crappy about doing it. Haven't been sleeping well since I set up the meeting with her last week. Is this normal? (this is my first time as an employer)

My elderly mother is in a nusing home. She was told that if she sells her home she will have to pay with her own money to keep living in the nursing home. Is there some legal way for her to get rid of the house and not have to pay to stay. I've heard that she could sign over the house to one of us or all of us. Is this true? Or are there any alternatives?

I am 31 weeks pregnant & due to go on maternity leave in just 2 mos.
6 months ago I transferred to a different department and now the head of my old department resigned. I am thinking about mentioning I am interested in the job but (I know I am qualified and could do the job) BUT since I am due to be out for up to 12 weeks, not sure if I should or not.
I know its not legal to be discriminated against for being pregnant but not sure if its a good idea to go for it if I'll get turned down or told flat out the timing is wrong... I have been a dedicated employee for over 3 years at this company.

I recently had a bad experience with a realtor that has a pretty good reputation but totally failed me and left me eating the cost of an extra inspection and the seller walking away with more than we had agreed because she failed to tell me that could happen. I guess she gets commission off the total sale price of the house so it wasn't in her best interest to tell me that could happen. I am wanting to post my experience with her and don't know which is the best medium of leaving feedback on realtors in TN. Anyone?

I just started working with a fundraising company that was appointed by an important veterans organization to help raise funds for the troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The executive director is amazing, she knows so many people and is inspiring.

My problem is that I can't find anyone to get on board and I don't get paid unless I raise funds. I have contacted all kinds of organizations across the countries to no avail. This is a nationwide initiative and I'm losing time and money.

The troops keep me going because they are so brave and selfless. I attended a benefit for disabled troops 10 days ago and I finally saw a product of what I could achived with all the time I spend trying to find sponsors. One day I will have my own fundraiser.

But until then, I'm running out of money and I need some good suggestions of organizations or individuals that will sponsor an event. Your troops will be greatful.

Last year I was working for a large company. I was a sales rep and found out that a coworker sold a deal in the territory I was covering. I reported this to my manager who then gave me half the commission on the deal. When the other sales rep found out he had to give me half, he started screaming at me for about 3 minutes straight, making a huge scene. I sat there and did nothing until finally I couldn't take in any longer and went into my managers office where it ended. I didn't know how to react to such ridiculous behavior, and I know if I swung at him I would have lost my job and could have been sued or something, so I did nothing. The coworker got written up by the company, but did not get fired. Well, it's a year later now, and I'm working for a different company, but when I think back on it I feel so violated and furious. Can I sue the company for not firing that man when he clearly should have been?

I've NEVER once ever borrowed money, so my bad credit is a reflection of two medical bills (I am unaware of one ever even happening) and a bill from Verizon, but that is a home phone, not a cell phone.

How long will it take for those to come off my report or to stop hurting my score? Its not like it's borrowed money, two things I wasn't even thinking about my credit when I opened them. Thanks
