This is so confusing!

I have an offer from DataCom (pretty big company), working with a team of (initially) 6-8 as a web developer, and also some client facing.

Then I have an offer from a small firm (only 6-8 employees in total). Same role, but with fast progression to team leader and also pays $10K more than the first role.

So which one should I choose? DataCom have already made an offer. The other company hasn't offered yet, but I've had a phone interview and they sound keen to hire me.

Another problem is I've been keeping DataCom waiting for a week now and they're saying if I don't take the job they'll have to give it to someone else.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
I am new to investing and pretty young (aged 17). I've been following the online investing tutorials regularly. However, there are some 7 articles on this website and they claim to show the real picture (the dark side) of trading and investments. Could someone more experienced can please tell if these articles and the data provided in them are genuine and trustworthy?
The articles are on:

Thanks a lot

and are making out its because they have received no work from me.
On the letter i received this morning it says basically......

We have received no work from you since may18th so we are terminating your contract as of may 31st.

They are only doing this because they havent paid me they kept sending me cheques that kept bouncing so i went to citizens advice on friday who then phoned them about this then today i receive that letter.
But what puzzles me is the fact that today is july3rd and they are trying to terminate my contract from may 31st can they really do this?

P.s im going to citizens advice again in a min but i just want to know if they can do this or not?

We purchased a 2 story home, in OK, that was listed as having 2890 sq ft. The home was built in 1973 and needed some major updating. We thought we were getting the home for $51 a sq ft. After living in the home for one month we finally got a copy of our appraisal and to our SHOCK the home only has 2187 sq feet! Did I mention the realtor was the seller's mother? This was a GROSS misrepresentation. Anyone know OK law that can give us some advice? The county assessor's records were WRONG. We found out the home had only sold one other time and it was listed at APPROX 2400 sq ft then. It turns out the same appraiser did the appraisal for the previous buyers and he said, "The house didn't grow." What do we do now? We just lost about $40,000 and this is a nationwide realtor. Our previous home (our first) was only 1200 sq ft so this one seemed WAY big to us.

I vested 100% of my stock in a small company - 1% ownership total - and have left. They've offered me a buyout. As part trying to convince me to take it, they've stated that I'm liable for 1% of the taxes on company income. The company took on investors last month and will not distribute dividends until they've paid the investor back, but claim I would owe taxes on income anyway. Quoting:

"Even though no dividends are allocated, all vested Stock in terms of taxes for LLC’s classified as partnerships for federal income tax purposes file Form 1065 at year's end. Income from the business is reporting to the partners (share-holders) on Form K-1. This “flows” to your personal income tax return Form 1040. If the business has net income of $1M for the year and you own 1% of business, your K-1 will have $10,000 taxable income. You should make estimated tax payments on Form 1040-ES. This income is also subject to self-employment tax of 12.4% up to $97,500 and 2.9% with no cap."

Truth?

Where do the heavy hitters or power sellers on ebay get thier items they have for sale? Like where do they get all the new and refurbished electronics and stuff? Is there a place where you can buy all of them refurbished products from or can you buy refurbished products direct from the manufacture or what.

Every Country has its own Tax Laws. Some impose higher taxes than others. On the other hand, some countries provide conditional "Income Tax Holidays" (ITH) as a way of enticing Investments. It is said that some Businesses are registered in "Tax Haven" Countries to save &/or to avoid on Tax Payments. How could this be if ALL Business Firms (Foreign &/or Local) not entitled to ITH are to pay taxes wherever they derive Income?

We just moved into a new house and when we did the place was filthy - walls dirty, carpets muddy, cobwebs everywhere. We were told it would be clean before we moved in. Also, when we viewed the property I specifically asked if a big under-stairs storage area had damp, and the agent said no. However, on moving in, it is so damp the door is actually rotten (and because of this, very difficult to open) and whenever you touch the walls paint comes away on your hand.

We have thus had to spend lots of time on cleaning and decorating, and buy additional storage (it's a furnished flat) and I have not had time to work all week (I am freelance).

My mother reckons we are within our rights to ask for two weeks rent free to make up for the time and money we have spent on this, and I wondered what our prospects were.

Has anyone ever done this?
Does anyone work for a property management company?
Any Advice?

My brother was in a diving accident and cant afford physical therapy. He cant afford the equipment.
(Plus he has to pay back a loan from the government for the ticket they purchased for flying him back to America.)

That is a need of more than 50,000.00 U.S. dollars.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
