Do lots of research, and check for credibility, such as being on the forbes 500 list even better when its in the top 50 like my company.. make sure you check the testimonials of the company,

I can tell you what I did, it might help. First, my husband and I called a couple of friends who were business smart. they said if I could get into this business I should. We also knew the company was publically traded. We looked at the need for the service and the comp plan. That was how we decided to get involved with this company.

When I started looking into whether my business was viable or not I checked out the yellow pages to see if anyone else was doing it. Then asked my Target consumers if the would use the service or not.
