Try to learn from your parents example, don't get into debt. If you need a car save your money and pay cash for it. Anyone who would loan you money for a car will want high interest and you will be paying the rest of your life.
Move to where you can walk to work or find work near where you live and save for what you want. A car doesn't need to cost $5,000 maybe you can find something you can afford in a few months.
