I just recently entered into a lease for the habitation of a manufactured home on farm land. The lease in not even a month old (signed may 25, and habitation was set to start the first of june).I have been in and out of the home dropping moving boxes off and such however i have not yet started to live there. The last time i was in the home was about 2 weeks ago when soon after arriving to unload some boxes i noticed the power to have gone out after a summer storm. Returning to the home today I was surprised to find a huge flood of sewer waste (feces included) throughout the house most likely having started from a toilet overflow or sewer line damage. To say the least, there is no way one can live in a home like that. I now want to get out of my lease and was wondering whats the most efficient way to do so?
By the way I already paid first month's rent and the equivalent $ in security...I don't even want that back, i just want out.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My sister is looking for a new job and I found an ad for her in the classifieds for working for the US Post Office making $20 an hour or 57K a year. So she just called the 800 number and they explained how she has to take an exam to get a job with the post office. Then they said they would send her a study guide for the low price of $99.50.... They also said if she does not pass the exam or does not get hired on the first interview, it is refundable. I just think it is kind of strange that she would need to pay to work for the US Post Office. I'm thinking it is a scam. Anyone work the post office and went through this "exam"?

I work at a hotel as a shuttle driver for a few months now, I have to pick up LOTS of heavy bags (luggage) and the other day, I picked so many up that my lower back really hurt and continues to hurt after a week of no work. I didn't go to doctor. My bastard manager keeps calling me to see when I can come back, because he says this time off thing is not working out for him.
What do I do? I need money, but can't lift those heavy bags and now my back hurts.
Thanks so much for your help.

Here's the scenerio:
My husband and my mother bought a house for $183,000. The house is valued at $200,000 today. When they purchased the house, it was only put in my mother's name, but we split everything 50/50. My mother wants to sell the house to us entirely so it'll be in our names only. Here's where it gets tricky. She wants to sell it to us for cheaper than it's worth, so we'll have a low mortgage payment each month. Is she allowed to sell the house for whatever value she wants, or does she have a limit to what she can knock the price down to?
She would like to sell it to us for $100,000. Is this possible? And would she profit $100,000 off the sale and would this money go into an escrow account so she could use towards the purchase of a new house?

I know what my rent will be but am not certain of electric, heat and basic transportation to and from my work.
Should I allow $150.00 per month? I'm a single person without an extravagant lifestyle....no auto to store ...bus or subway will be fine......any thoughts?

Why does our Government reward illegal immigrants who have never paid one dime into Federal Income tax? They offer them Amnesty when they have broken our laws, abused our hard earned tax dollars through welfare with their anchor babies.

So 20,000,000 illegals are rewarded with amnesty for being here for years and never paying Federal Income Tax

But that same Government will go after a 50 year old couple in New Hampshire for not paying those same taxes.

So let me get this right - if you are illegally it's alright not to pay taxes and you get rewarded with citizenship

But if you are a real American and don't pay taxes they will show up at your door with tanks, snipers and federal agents armed with machine guns and can cut your power, phone.

Welcome to crazy world.

Can someone show me the law saying we must pay federal income tax?

Title 26 is not the law, it consisted only of IRS "regulations" and had not been enacted by Congress

The16th Amendment was never legally ratified!
