Why does our Government reward illegal immigrants who have never paid one dime into Federal Income tax? They offer them Amnesty when they have broken our laws, abused our hard earned tax dollars through welfare with their anchor babies.

So 20,000,000 illegals are rewarded with amnesty for being here for years and never paying Federal Income Tax

But that same Government will go after a 50 year old couple in New Hampshire for not paying those same taxes.

So let me get this right - if you are illegally it's alright not to pay taxes and you get rewarded with citizenship

But if you are a real American and don't pay taxes they will show up at your door with tanks, snipers and federal agents armed with machine guns and can cut your power, phone.

Welcome to crazy world.

Can someone show me the law saying we must pay federal income tax?

Title 26 is not the law, it consisted only of IRS "regulations" and had not been enacted by Congress

The16th Amendment was never legally ratified!

You say title 26 is law?

You say the 16th amendment was ratified?

Show me where it states those facts?

Show me the law if you are so smart!

Just show me where it says it is law - come on!

People that worked for the IRS (their own investigators) have even said they did 2 year searches and cannot find - anywhere - where it is proven to be law!

That's not a "serious" tax question. It's a "specious" tax question. Please learn some vocabulary, or how to spell if you acutally meant specious.

You are officially NUTS (or totally CLUELESS) if you think that Title 26 of the US Code isn't a law! It damn sure IS a law, as enacted by Congress. The implementing regulations were written by the IRS in accordance with the law, just like any other Federal law. Title 49 covers transportation and the DOT wrote implementing regulations on that law. That's how the system works, my crazy friend.

And there are law libraries full of case law that states plainly and clearly that the 16th Amendment WAS properly ratified -- all the way to The Supreme Court. In fact, the courts are so pissed at people who try to argue otherwise that they impose stiff penalties on anyone who tries to challenge Title 26 based upon that argument.

BTW, the count on illegals is closer to 12 million, not 20 million. And they have NOT been given amnesty. And it's not likely that they will get it either. And many of them DO pay taxes, often by using phony SSNs. Of course, they never file a tax return, so the refunds that they would otherwise be entitled to are kept by the government -- one of the dirty little secrets that the current administration would rather not be publicized. Lastly, to get legal, any unpaid taxes MUST be paid in full -- something that will bar many if not most of them from becoming legal by any means.

Ed Brown and his wife are a couple of classic Tax Kooks. They will wind up on prison eventually. No need to fire a shot, the government will just wait them out. They might have solar and wind power, but their supply of food is limited so it will just take some time.

OK, Bright Boy, here's the law: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/uscode26/usc_sup_01_26.html In living black and white!

If you wish to verify the validity of the ratification of the 16th Amendment, start with Brushaber v. Union Pacific Railroad and go forward from there.

Title 26 is law. Title 26 is just one portion of the U.S. Code. The U.S. Code is the codification by subject matter of the general and permanent laws of the United States. It is divided by broad subjects into 50 titles and published by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The 16th amendment was legally ratified. In fact, the Supreme Court has numerous time clarified that even though there were minor errors in the versions returned from the states, that several other amendments were properly ratified with more serious errors. Additionally, many of Bill Benson's argument based upon his "research" are factually wrong. I personally debunked his argument about Tennessee not legally ratifying the amendment and it took me about five minutes to do so. I'll give you a hint, he misread and misinterpreted the Tennessee Constitution as it was in 1909.

So, go ahead, don't pay your taxes. When you get brought to court in a few years, use your arguments. You'll be added to the list of tax protestors who have lost in court.

Wow.....I have never seen so many incorrect statements in one lunitic's rant.

1) Illegals do pay taxes. Trust me....I have seen the returns.

2) The Browns were convicted of Tax Evasion. They certainly were not the first and they won't be the last. They owe $1.9 Million. What makes them so special that they should not have to pay?

3) Title 26 is law. What makes you think it isn't?

4) The 16th was ratified. Even if you claim that Ohio's vote shouldn't count (as many tax protesters do) there were still more than enough states voting for its passage.

Your mind is made up. Anything that I would show you would change the bizarre notions in your head. You are a raving lunitic and the sooner you seek professional help, the better.

If you have time, read through this:

Most illegals do pay income tax, Social Security and Medicare, they just use fake SS numbers. With a little luck they could use yours and you would get the credit. Just post you SS number at all of the day labor sites (most of those sites were built with tax dollars so it would be OK).

Go to the Library of Congress and look it up yourself. Plus, I'm sure it is somewhere in the Federal Register.
