- Find another job quickly
- Reduce current bills (Cable TV, Internet, Air Conditioning, eating out)
- Talk with those who you owe money to and let them know in advance that you are temporarily unemployed. Ask them if you can make a partial payment or even delay payment without penalty. Most companies are understanding when it comes to temporary setbacks and are willing to work with you. You just need to ask.

You can also try calling all of your credit card companies to see if you can work out alternate payment plans. They would rather get some of the money you owe them than none of it, so quite often they can arrange something with you. Try reducing unneccessary expenses like cable, entertainment expenses, etc. Instead of going out to eat, try making something at home.
The other thing you should consider is a temp agency. You might be able to find work for 2 months that will pay at least $500, so you would be able to fulfil your financial obligations.

if your bills are only $25.00, that is very easy!
if -on the ohter hand, you meant to write $2,500.00
then, i would pay PORTION of the bills that you owe, making sure that you pay in full those that carry interest.
you can call places like utilties, and they usually accept partial payments. you might also be able to go online and change the due date for your credit cards. that will work only ONE time though, up to 30 day extra time to pay the bill.
try to limit the amount of your groceries etc, so that you can put most you can in your bills.
for clothing needs (sometimes food too), try your local freecycle. (see yahoogroups for local listings). I found it very helpful (wonder what is freecycle? it's a network of people who, instead of simply throwing or donating their unwanted items, they exchange it with others who have a need for them.)
good luck with everything
