If it's not from the same person, then yes, you pay a shipping charge for each shipment - 4 shipments, so 4 shipping charges. If you buy multiple items from the same person, often they'll combine shipping so you won't pay the full amount of the multiple charges.

Generally you pay full shipping for the first item you buy then reduced shipping for each item after that. You need to read the shipping and handling details found somewhere in the item description for each item.
