I have a friend who was recently fired from his job. He returned all company uniforms and tools. His employer is now with holding his last paycheck because the employer states that my friend still has uniforms that he has not returned.

I was retrieving a tax lien release for a client and the clerk mentioned it but didn't have time to elaborate. I hear this is a day that the tax collectors report previous year’s unpaid taxes on your credit report and lien your property. I also heard it was December 14th. Anyone know more about this?? I need to explain this to my client. Thanks =)

I live in Ohio and the minimum wage is going up starting in January. I was at work the other day and my boss told me that since the minumum wage was increasing by 30% I would have to work 30% harder. A few days ago she told me that I better be worth minumum wage come Janurary. I work very hard and come in extra days and it's only (supposed to be) a part-time job. Was it right for her to say this?

Ok. I really need to get a job to help my family out. But i'm really shy and i freak out when i'm the center of attention. I hate giving public speaches or having to do something that anyone is judging me on.

I hate interviews. When they ask me what i want to do i have no idea what to say. I don't know what i want to go to school for. I have no idea what i want to be. Then they ask me how this job will help me and i don't know. They ask me what i like to do and theres nothing really because i'm too shy infront of people. All i do is listen to music and hang out with my friends.

Can anyone give me tips on how to deal with this or how to get over it. Would stress pills or some kind of medicine help me?Thanks

I am working in Software Company as programmer. The reason I believe this boss is incompetent are following

His interpersonal skills are very low he always behaves in condescending way with others rather than respecting them.
He is micromanager. He assigns tasks which are parts of a job rather than assigning job and supervising overall performance and correction if it is required.

When he faces many problems he can’t respond to customers in priority

I could identify above in my boss. I am not sure if I take his position I will do the same or not but working under him and being forced to obey his orders tearing me apart. Does anybody have any suggestion?
If he continues this way he wills definitely causing to close office. I have some work in my hand if I selected for his position these work definitely would be perished. Give me you suggestions.
