Singapore, UK and other places. have been getting job offers from the same. the web addresses given in their communication are mostly non existant or basic spanish sites with little or no information. further to which they are asking for money. smells fishy anyone else been getting similar messages?

The customer used many different cards. I suspected him of fraud and informed the bank. They told me not to worry. Now they have come back to me a week later and after more transactions and said it was fraud and they want the money off me. It seems unfair that I should lose up to 30,000 pounds when I told them my suspicions and they told me not to worry. I would like to know how I can prevent the bank from taking all the money off me. The ttransactions were done mainly by phone.

For example, a company has 10 (say) shares of 50 (any currency) each, with market cap of 10 * 50 = 500 or 2 for 1 stock split resulting in 20 shares, that is, 20 * 25 = 500.

My questions:
1. How does this benefit the company's share price?
2. Does a stock split really leads to increase in share prices and enhanced investor interest and trust? How?

I just got talked into buying a Timeshare in Las Vegas and now I regret it! I feel like such an idiot, I should have known better! But no matter how I figure it out, the cost per night after 25 years is still going to be 149.00 a night! Its a rip off and I want to get out of it. I haven`t made the first payment yet and it has been less than 30 days since the purchase. Please anyone who can help me please answer!!

I purchased an item on ebay on friday evening through paypal and i received confirmation to my email, on my paypal account it reads TRANSACTION COMPLETE & PAYMENT STATUS complete. Another e-mail from the seller reads:

- Your payment has been received for Item # 150068640448
and
- We will send you another email when we ship the item.Thank you !

And i received the last e-mail that reads:

Dear ****
We have packed your eBay UK Item # 150068640448 To:

>>Our postal pickups are Monday-Friday at 2pm.<<

Please allow 3-5 working days after despatch (excluding Sat/Sun/Bank Hols

Now,does this really mean that the money has been deposited into their account? because I have checked my bank account several times and no money has been taken out; this worries me since it's my first time doing this "ebay purchase and paypal payment" thing.

Can anyone give me detailed and informative reply PLEASE!

Not boasting, but I have a lot of information in my skull. I have a knowledge base covering: World history, U.S. History, Science, Geography, Current events, Music and Musicians, Movies and Actors, Automobiles (mechanical and general), Politics, economics, I speak some Spanish.
Basically I can keep up with most any conversation I walk into without steering off subject.
I'm particularly good at understanding: abstract concepts, governing principles and systems. I have tons of great ideas. Usually combining my knowledge of one subject with another, but I’m poor so they just collect dust.

I have a strong vocabulary.
I Draw well and paint moderately well.
I can fix most anything wrong with your car.
I can answer most any general knowledge question.
I type like the wind.
I can research a subject quickly and thoroughly using; internet, library, phone book, text books.
I understand social/economic trends.
I’m fit and I know some jiu-jitsu.
I'm sure I'm leaving something out

I think i sort of understand options, but not quite exactly.

If I buy an option and sell it, I have no obligation, is that right? Only the original writer of the option has the obligation to sell or buy shares at the strike price?

If I write an option and sell it, then I do have an obligation, is that right?
