And I thought I was the only one! Dogpile rules!!!!!

I used to use www.ask.co.uk but Dogpile is better because it searches all the top search engines.

I hate how everyone thinks Google is the best search engine ever made. Although I concede that it is a good one, its not the best one EVER despite what everyone thinks. If you stick to google your whole life there are some sites you'll never even see.

EDIT: also www.live.com is alright. I love their satalite pictures too, so much more clearer than GOOGLE. If you don't believe me zoom in on your house on both and compare

I used Google up until 5 weeks ago.

AltaVista was once the big daddy of the search engines........ Google's place at the top is not assured forever due to competition.

I switched to other engines cause Google removed the search feature on url specific searches "Try anyway to see if link is valid"

Google and Yahoo are easiest to get to but I use 'Dogpile' it gives a selection from all the search engines. Search engines work on slightly different protocols and patterns to get their data so if you use one regularly there may be things you miss because of the way it's 'looking' Try www.dogpile.co.uk or com if you are in the US......it's good!

Google usually, occasionally Yahoo, and sometimes a category specific academic engine like ATHENS. But Google serves most purposes very well.
