The same thing I am going to do when "Ol' Sheriff John Brown" comes for me!
On a serious note, I was awarded unemployment earlier this year after I QUIT a job... the business was acused of having an unsafe working environment, so I received unemployment until they got their act together 6 months later!

I think the key is to cultivate a wide range of talents so you can always find a job. It might not be the job you want, or a great job, but it's a job. Don't get stuck doing the same job all the time and make yourself a dinosaur--keep learning, keep innovating, think of yourself as a free agent always looking for the best opportunity for yourself.
