So I check my bank account online to see how much my check was for & somehow it was deposited twice!

After each transaction there is a number, except for the checks that I write. For example when the last electronic payment came out for my cell the # after was 302103. Well, both depostis for the paycheck have the same # after them...302108. How is that?

Whos error was it? Do you think they will catch it? Should I hurry up & spend it?

Ive never heard of this happening....

Hello there,

I work for a small non-profit organization, employees are 5+, including the owners. They do not have any policies so far on benefits or vacation/sick time ..etc, which is creating lots of confusion and issues. Can somebody tell me what is the norm for working professionals to get for the following:

-Paid Sick-time, and whether you can take it for your personal reaons
-Paid Vacation-time
-Holidays where they should be closed for business
-Health Insurance

If anyone can tell me what is the norm that is offered in small businesses (although it is a non-profit, it pretty much operates like a business and it definetely have the budget that rivals a 20+ employee regular small business, so they CAN afford to give normal benefits).

Thanks guys,

Our company is giving an award for the "Person who shows the most capability and potential to succeed" named after an employee who committed suicide last year!

Obviously the "Great work on the thinking that one through front" Award goes to our senior management team.

We have a "required" Secret Santa every year at my work. I would rather not do it, especially since they keep going up on the amount we "have" to spend. Furthermore, this comes right after they cut out our incentive pay.

So can I keep the receipt for what I've spent and write it off my taxes???

I have about 43k in student loans, one loan is 8.75% and the other is 5.34%. I figure I have about $750 a month I can either put towards the loans. My question is should I put all of that towards the loan, or put some of it in savings?
