There 250+ people in this plant. I was 'volunteered' to be part of our company's Social Committee & need ideas on what types of year-round activities there could be for a group this size. Maybe integration with some type of fundraising? Any good ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!

The current system is flawed, because an agent can make more money by selling your house fast and moving on to the next listing. So the incentive is for them to sell your house faster and for less money. How could we re-structure the system to give the agent fair reward but a stronger incentive?

I live in an apartment complex where the landlord pays for heat and water. I recently left a message with her about the heat. I told her it has been cold in my apartment but the crazy thing about it is that my caretaker who also lives in the bulding says that the heat is on. He also said that she has it on 70 degrees because that what she's paying for.

I was wondering if I called the health department on her would she be able to raise the rent or try to evict me? And even though the heat is on "70" that doesn't mean the apartment is warmed to that temperature does it?

I am 23 and have recently graduated from college and have a good job ($42,000 per year salary + bonus). The only debt I have is about $20,000 in student loans. I have recently begun buying stocks, but I only have about $1,500 invested right now. My stocks are doing pretty well, but I don't have enough invested right now to make any significant gains. I would like to continue to invest more money as I earn more, however I am not sure what my best option is at this point. Should I continue to buy individual stocks, or should I invest in mutual funds or even Roth IRA? I feel that I'll get dinged by taxes if I continue buying stocks and don't start taking advantage of some of the tax benefits associated with IRAs or Roth IRAs. Any advice???

I want to paint and give the house a fresh new look, but I don't want to work around messes and make it even worse. I'm not starting until I get everything straightened.

I have decided on my new business name, but I know that there are other companies with the same intials. Can I use a name that some other company has, but my intials do not stand for the same words. Example: ABC Solutions, another company ABC Solutions. It happens that those are my intials to my name, and their stand for 'always busy completing'.
Are business name locked into the state that you operate from or could five companies in different states has the same name? This is not a franchise, I am the only person that will be involved with the ownership.
