Currently working at a job I was once very excited about and thought it might be the first step towards my future, but there is no work for me in this position and absolutley no sign of a promotion or more responsibility on the way. Planning on quitting soon. Am I crazy to complain about getting payed to do nothing or is it crazy to stay at a job where you accomplish nothing?

I currently bank with a bank that isn't very good (5/3rd) I had money stolen from my account and they were very willing to help me in getting the funds back. I also work for them. I am looking for a new bank, but I don't know what is a good bank to use. Especially in the cincinnati area, which I will be moving to the south bend area in 5 months. Any suggestions?

I've been in the business for one year. I am a voracious learner. My background as a reference librarian and professional trainer gives me a very generous, empowering spirit I have yet to find in another agent in this business. It's a very selfish place to be and I'm not used to it. My skin in thickening but my desire to learn and grow still persists and the best way for me to do this is by having someone to talk to about things, knowledgably. I've thought about running a "Help Wanted" ad, but want to know your ideas, too first. Thanks!

As a young adult, before I knew the importance of credit, I max out three credit cards in the amount of 3000. I also have additional debt that brings me to a total of approx. 6000. My credit score obviously is low, and I am focused on bringing my score up and eliminating past debts. Please help!

Still want to claim income because I am unable to maintain a full time wage. However this will mean that I will not be claiming benifits which I need to live off. Can I do both work and claiming, if I am only working part time. I feel I can work a part time job not a full one, but need a full time wage to live off. Can I still claim income support that is shortened down and not totally cut off. And what work is there for a small woman that has been very unemployable due to having panic attacks most days?

I have a love hate relationship with this man. He is such a pain and is extremely needy. For example, I have to compose all his emails and he doesn't know the basics of operatating a computer to save his life. I was on the job for 1 month and already I was being asked to complete his AR report. I really am trying so hard to respect him, but I can't respect a man that pushes all his work on me. It has gotten so bad that no one contacts him for answers they contact me! He doesn't mind interputing me, especially on payroll days, I have to drop everything. I work hard and I don't think he cares. I thought I would be rewarded for all my hard work when raise time came. That was a joke, I received a $.39 raise. My position use to be two seperate positions and they have combined them into one. I was hired on as receptionist, which should be changed to office manager. Is this the norm are all bosses in the coporate world like this? How do tell him nicely to shove it?

I just read an article about a program called ROWE at Best Buy's corporate headquarters. I think they are definitely on the right track. I'm not at all surprised in the record breaking increase in production in employees, retention of employees and morale of employees. It is so true that many jobs can be done from just about anywhere and if you are happy with your job, you will perform better. Who wouldn't be happy if they could work from anywhere at anytime??

Anyone working in an office environment knows that there is a lot of wasted time there. There is alot of wasted time in shuffling paperwork. Technology is changing everyday and we no longer need to sit in a cubicle to get our job done.

Kudos to Best Buy! There will be problems, as in every program, but, the benefits will outweigh those problems!! Keep it up and you will transform the working world as we know it!! This is what innovation is all about!
