let me describe you details. i have a manager above me who to me is not reaching to me in every thing you consider. of course it is just my idea but i meaning he is far from me regarding to experience and competence. he always treat other employes with condescending voice including me and behaving in the way that is totally disgusting. my general managers told to me that, i have to temporary tolerating this outrageous. what would you suggesting me. in recent days i took 7 days leave for this to think more about this. it was cost me to deliver the source code which i worked 7 month on it to this person. please help me to understand better and act accordingly. currently we are working on a single project and he tries to take control of me. and screw up my preformance with his wonderfully damaging orders. my general managers are supporting me. i think the best thing i can do is to directly not to obey what he say and just doing my own work because i have the support of my general manager?

Treat him as you would your grandfather. NO matter what his age or experience, he is still your manager. That is one thing that will keep you in line for his job! DO NOT IGNORE his orders! But, make sure that you do not mess up in the work that you are performing by completely following the orders given without telling him why. You are definitely going to move up with your company if you learn some tolerance. That may be the reason that you are taking orders from someone that is below your ability in that job. Just keep a straight face and teach him as you would your children WITHOUT embarrassing him. It will all work out in the end... Have a wonderful holiday!

I think your right. If the people above him agree with you, why listen to the dope. Prove your self and document the things you do so he can not steal your work.
I know some of how you feel. My boss is so stupid, I hate it when he asks me simple stupid questions that I think a 10 yr old could answer like how do I spell.... Anyways its to bad he's the only boss in this stupid company. Good luck to you!
