That sounds weird, as a cashiers check is a check directly from the bank. You gave the bank cash, they gave you a cashiers check, so if the bank you gave the cashiers check to is putting a hold on it, either they are not familiar with the bank it is from, don't trust anyone, or have a blanket policy of a certain number of days no matter what. You'd have to ask the bank you gave the check to, as the cashiers check is like a prepaid-it is basically saying we have the cash for this check right now, so it does not even make sense, unless they just won't cash it due to the bank it was drawn on being an unfamiliar bank, and make it their policy to be difficult.

Is a cashiers cheque like a money order? Did you go to the bank and have them certifiy it or were you given it certified??
If you are unsure if the bank (your bank) will hold the cashiers cheque then take it to the branch that appears on the cheque and have them cash it there. I have done this in the past and then haven't held it.

that's the words of ATM deposits. you may have in simple terms waited and cashed it on an identical time as the financial employer is open for business enterprise. because of the fact it grow to be a cashier's verify, this is assured money, regrettably ATM's take time to technique and submit finding on the day of the week. verify your financial employer's "money availability' ....information and incredibly confusing, have a financial employer supervisor clarify it to you.
