there isnt, not at the post office, are you maybe speaking of ads in the paper , which advertize post office and other type jobs? if so, this is not the post office directly doing it,,,,,,, they will list an ad sometimes in the sunday paper, or else you can find out from the local labor department or the post office, as to when they are taking applications,,, they take applications, then contact people for testing,, when they do the testing , they have hundreds of people take the test all at the same time,,,,, then you are put on a roster according to the score you make, from that roster they call when jobs are available,,,,,
so i think what you are referring to is a scam,,, call the local post office and ask them about it ,,,,,,

That's a SCAM.The Post office schedules exams periodically,go to your local job service to find when and where.

The USPS never charges a fee for testing,for inf call 1-800-ask-USPS. or go to www.USPS.com then click on JOBS for info . It is free!! good luck,the usps is a great place to work with excel. pay and benefits .

The answer from "rtfm" is 100% correct - the problem is that lots of people want those usps jobs, and when they get them, they stay for long periods, making it difficult to find vacancies
