I just interviewed for a detention center that's ran by the county government. I was wondering if I should send a post-interview thank you letter or a letter of some sorts. Is this appropriate or would it be considered schmoozing? I'm just trying to gauge what most people do after an interview and help my chances. Thank you for serious answers. I flag stupid answers.

I took out a $2300 payday loan about a year ago and I have been paying $215/month service fee and I am no longer able to pay the service fee. I stopped paying the service fee approximately 2 months ago and needless to say they are calling me endlessly. I know it was stupid but I really needed the money at the time. As you can see I have paid $2150 in service fee and still owe the original loan for $2300. My question is what happenns if I cant or dont want to pay any further. Can they garnish my paycheck, etc??

We closed on our house 11/10/06 (30 yr fixed rate of 5.34%) and received our transfer of loan statement from the new mortgage company today. Our payment is $50 MORE than what we signed at closing. How in the world can this be?

Is it discrimination when a satellite TV corporation refuses to supply you a product because of your credit report? These corporations charge a monthly fee in advance, what gives them the right to consider the service a credit? Why should they check your credit report? What do you think?
