Depends on where you are located (you forgot to mention that bit of information).

However, the first place to check would be with the Housing Authority in your area. Most times, the Housing Authority will have lists of property management companies in the areas that accept Section 8.

You may also need to do a little bit of educating of potential landlords to make them see possible advantages of renting Section 8. (Contrary to beliefs, it is not always a good deal.)

Also, keep in mind that you need to present yourself as a responsible tenant. If the landlord perceives that you are a deadbeat (and you already are at a disadvantage being on Section 8), finding someone to take you in will be impossible.

Most landlords will rent to anybody except section 8. What you probably want is a landlord who will accept section 8.

Contact a Realtor in your town. Section 8 qualified houses are listed as such in the MLS. (At least in San Antonio they are)

Don't bring it up right away, and when you do say it's the housing choice voucher. A lot of people don't even know what it is or how it work's.It's rent they will always get.Not like with other people who may loose their jobs. You pay a third of your income, job social security. In New York they have something like it where the landlord's can't raise the rent, cant remember what they call it.First ask alot of question's,let them get to know you.It won't be easy, and you will haft to do make a lot of calls.

Most landlords probably could. You might try places that have been sitting vacant for a little while with a private landlord owner. These are likely to be the most flexible.
