When you file next year, whether it be right away, or just before April, you will get hit for self employment taxes. At that time, the tax will be added onto any other outstanding taxes from 06, and you will either pay or get a refund depending on your overall tax picture.

You're supposed to send it in quarterly. If you wait until you file your return, depending on how much you owe, you'll probably get hit with interest and possibly penalties for underpayment of estimated taxes.

When you get your taxes done for 2006, you will find out what your tax due is based on your income..There after, you will pay estimated quarterly taxes.
