Each time I have to deal either with a doctor or lawyer, it seems that they are so stuck-up and impersonal.....just annoying. Don't they remember where they once came from, or what??

I'm just about to move to North Devon (Ilfracombe) and I have a few spare days per week I'd like to use earning some extra cash. Could anyone let me know where I could get driving / delivery jobs or similar to fill my time. I could also do monumental masonry, basic building / carpentry, web design, promotions, desktop publishing & marketing strategy consultancy (I've been around!)

Please keep your answers helpful, thanks.

The name has to be a brand and very catchy, but doesn't have to be linked to a cafe or smoothie bar. It could be something like metro? How is that!!

I have owned my house for 6 months and now may need to move for a new job... Should I try to sell my house and risk taking a loss (very likely considering the housing market, and high realtor fees), or try to rent it and hire a property manager to manage the property (I will be moving a thousand miles away and cannot take care of the property myself). If I do rent it, is everything I spend on the house (lawncare, paint etc.) now tax deductible since its sort of like a small business???

I have a private loan from school that has a minimum payment of $608.00 a month. Only $25.00 of that goes to the base balance so I'll be paying it off well after I'm 100 years old! This makes no sense to me and the company won't budge. Whats the best way to pay this off? Should I get another loan from a bank and pay that company off? Don't let your kids go to art school if you're poor T_T

My coworker and I are going around about my equipment. My boss knows about each and every one of our "discussions" because its stressing me out. He works in a different group and they use my group's autoclave, not as much as we do, so if the autoclave goes down then my group is the one most affected by it. He thinks a service call to fix the autoclave, and our down time is worth less $$ then if his stuff gets ruined by letting the thing run overtime for its cycle.
He doesn't understand when its ok to use the reset button w/o breaking the thing, and keeps asking me when he can use the reset. I keep telling him the same thing, but he just says umm. He keeps asking me about it after my boss has left, so I can't tell him to go talk to her about it. I tried to do that once, and he ran, said he didn't need to talk to her. I can't tell if he's trying to trap me into saying something I don't mean or trick me or mess me up so he can tell his boss.
