According to what weve been told it is a poor score.You however can buy a house ,car, get credit cards, but the interest rates will be higher. 650 is on the better side. I think 620-? is better than under 619. The higher the better.I think the scores usually start at about 550. 700+ is really good.You can google credit scores and find all sorts of info on it.Been there ,and it takes alot of effort and time to to get it higher.

It's a midrange score, depending upon what sort of loan you are looking for. Take a look at myfico.com for factors covered in credit scores. Also, it gives a ball park rate difference between different credit scores for different loans.

If you are trying to purchase a house, you might pull your credit bureaus and take a look to see if there are any errors. Last statistics I read said that 36% of people had an error in their credit bureau that affected their credit negatively.
