I agree. It is a good combination. Rather I would like funcional specialist to be the team leaders in such implementations.

SAP FI/CO OR FICO ( Or whatever ) : Financial Costing is a good combination with a MCOM/Eco/ BCom or CA Qualification . I am working as a Software Engg in a Co. and There are quite a number of people with Commerce/CA background who are working as SAP-FICO consultants in my company as well as other IT Companies. And I am quite sure that this qualification would have a good demand in other Companies as well.
