Tattoos - March 2007

okay.... so i wanna get my ears pierced.... but i can't have them during skool (i'm 14 goin on 15 in a 2 months)...... soo i'm gonna get them done in a couple days... n' i'm not sure.... how long do i have to leave them on... cause i have skool the next day..... n' i'm gonna get them done like at 1 Pm... and can i take them off right away or do i have to wait (plz let it be for a couple of hours)?...... plz help

I have a bunch of tats, some on my arms and back. Well I just got a new one around my ankle and it seems like it's taking FOREVER to heal. My other ones didn't seem to take this long. I take care of it the same way I did all the rest. My other ones would be in that annoying itching stage right now but the one on my ankle is still a little sore and it's been 5 days. It's just barely starting to scab a little bit. Do you think it's just because of where it's at? A lot of people are telling me it's because the skin in that area of your ankle is thinner than most other places. Its also a fairly big tattoo. It's the biggest one I have it takes up my whole ankle and a little bit of my lower leg. Is everything normal or should I go to the tat shop and have them check it out???

Hi there! A colleague of mine has recently found out that she is around 4 weeks pregnant. She got a black outline tattoo a few days before she found out and is now worried that it could somehow harm the baby. Is there any advice that I could pass on? Thanks.

As quite a few goth/rock/emo people have 'Nighmare before Xmas' characters tatooed on their bodies e.g. Billy Martin from Good Charlotte
But does Mr Burton get a cut? As technically the characters are his creation - so surely under his copyright??

I just got a tattoo thursday and I was just wandering what is the best way to wash it. Like with what product and how often. I put the unscented lotion on like every two to three hours, is that too often? Any help with the care if it would be great. Also how long afterwards can i submerge it like if I wanted to take a bath.

I've heard you can cover old tattoos by acctually tattooing the tattoo with a flesh colored ink. mixing the inks to closely match your own tone. once healed a new tattoo can begin.
Anybody have any thoughts to share on this idea?
