Add another fairy to the existing one, and add his name to it too? Either that, or ( my mate had this done) an ankle bracelet tattoed around her ankle with both initials done as charms, in different colours
I'm designing one for my lower back - like a car badge but with my kids initials - all in silvers and greys
Good luck

Something very small can still be significant to you and to him. How about something on your shoulder or near your heart to represent your love for him and how you hold him close to you your heart forever?
I have always thought the bloom of a flower, whether it be a rose or otherwise, is particularly meaningful. It symbolizes life, forever youth, beauty, and is both delicate and strong. A flower is faithful and overcomes great odds to survive and bring beauty to the world.
I certainly think of my son in these terms, so perhaps something of that nature would be best for you, too?
Any way you choose, try to think of something that is particularly meaningful to you and your child. Good luck!

I think you should decide what to get on your own. You don't want to have to tell your son that the idea for his tattoo came from some stranger on the internet, do you?
Maybe on your ankle or stomach. Don't put it on your shoulder. That's a bit too sailor-ish.

I suggest a red heart, With a ribbon flowing gently around it with "your" name in one section of it,and your child's name in another section of it,with a beautiful pair of roses strewn beneath it. As for where to place it, I would suggest placing it either on the upper arm, or upon the chest of that child's daddy!

Try getting it on your back...My mom got my little sis's name on hers and she can cover it to go to work and show it off in the summer. And to represent your sons b-day you should put a character trait that u want him to have like: courage, loyalty, family, .............anything

a tattoo should really come from the heart, but if you do want an opinion you should have him write his name on you then tattoo over it. of course you may have to wait a while until he is older.
