I was at a concert and i screamed a tad too much...now i am slightly hoarse. it's not that i can't sing high, it's just i can't control my voice at all and the quality sucks. is there any way to speed up the recovery process?

It is a site that allows inspiring actors to have a profile and pictures online in hopes of becoming discovered etc, and it also lists casting calls for up coming movies etc.

Is this for real, or is there another site out there that is real. I am trying to get my son discovered, maybe doing some odd job as a model or a extra at acting.

A few good comedies like "Bananas", "Zelig" and "Radio Days". But the rest is too pretentious, boring, blah-blah-blah, usual characters and exaggerated "philosophy" and "intellectual" comments that mean nothing. Just more BLAH-BLAH.[Should stick with comedy only] What do you think?

Hi! I bought a pair of tickets to a musical paying at the fabulous fox theatre; they are very good seats and the tickets cost quite a bit. It is a present for my girlfriend and I plan on handing them to her in her birthday card. Now the deal is that I don't want to her to know just how much I spent so I was wondering if it is possible to black-out (via sharpie) the price on the ticketmaster ticket or does that violate some policy in any way? Ok well im doing rent school edition, and today we ran through all the songs and i really messed up my voice. there i was great, but at home it hurt really badly. Tomorrows the real auditions for parts, i know im in but not what part, so any home remedies anybody has? I dont like tea either, sorry to be picky, but anything would be helpful. And is it true taht vitamin c helps?

I am an aspiring actress. Im currently a college student but I don't like my school's theater department at all. However, I've been auditioning for other plays and productions outside of school. (community theater) I just scored a part in a musical which will be performed next month. I've always wanted to be a movie star, but lately I've been thinking a lot about going on broadway also after I graduate college. My friends have been pressuring me that I should try to be a Comedian since they say I tell the most hillarious jokes and stories, they suggested I should try my local Stand Up Comedy Clubs. I was wondering, how do you apply or audition? I just want to give it a shot to see either if I am that good as they say I am or not. Hey everyone? I'm currently in college majoring in math and science and wondering about minoring in theatre to spice up my life. The college I attend offer courses in both theatre and acting that starts off in different directions but eventully leads down the same path. The reason why I want to do acting is because I love possitive attention and the fact that I can be someone else; I can care less about the money. Yet at the same time I want to be a writer, producer and director and create quality television show despite the fact majority don't last longer than three seasons. Its strange though because in my heart I feel lead to go all in majoring in theatre especially the writing and directing part but in the back of my mind its always saying your more guaranteed with math and science. In five days I have to choose between intro to acting or intro to theatre need help???
