We found out the hard way that programs like "Barbizon" are not all they say they are...to put it nicely! I have a few professional shots of her but they are not updated...braces. What is my next step?

Hello if you know if there are any auditions for anything on disney please let me know.I know that you can just get on there with looks you have to have a lot of talent to be on there.I just really want to try to get into an acting career on disney.I love to sing act and dance!I am 13 blonde hair blue eyes and 5.2'.I have some experience in acting singing and dancing i have been in two plays choir and dance for two years.I know that i will have to travel too.I really want to try to be on disney!!SO PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

I can get row M, seats 118 & 120 ( 10 seats off aisle) or row O seats 102 & 104 ( on the aisle) or front mezzanine, row A seats 105& 106 (5 rows off aisle, row A mezz, overhangs row L of orchestra), or row b of front mez seats, seats 103-105 (103 is second seat) which is best? i am thinking front mezz row a is...any ideas thanks!!

I use StageAgent.com often, and though it gives you a brief description of each show and each character (as well as some great search tools), it doesn't tell you what songs each character sings. Does anyone know a site with more resources? Thank you!!!

I want to start an acting/dancing/singing career in NYC, and am currently not very close to that location (I don't want to divulge my location, but it's very Midwest) and want to transfer to a college in or around New York City and build a resume at the same time (look for agents, go to open calls, etc.) Is this a feasible goal? What colleges would you New Yorkers/actors recommend?

If so, please tell me some info. I need to know where, and how to audition. (If its not already to late) I've seen many audition tapes posted already on Youtube and I really would like to audition. They're looking for a large number of extras for a crowd scene. We're not a big movie town, and they don't usually do big crowds. There was only about 10 days notice, and no one in town does headshots - not like I have a huge resume anyway, just been an extra in an indie film once. So do I really need it, or just a photo with contact info attached? I've heard (in looking online) that a generic extra generally doesn't need a headshot.

i'm an aspiring actress and i'm getting braces in 2 weeks. when i go on auditions, will i be looked over because i have braces? will i have to get lingual braces? those make it hard to talk. help! also, please tell me any actresses who have or have had braces during their career.

Im a Junior in High School....and...I am thinking about taking music and acting in college......can the acting and music lead to a career in acting....(acting is what i want to do as a career)...is it a "chancy thing" whether or not i will be able to get an acting career....or is it all determined on how i do in college?

I am in the acting business, and I never have had to pay my manager. Instead, she gets 15% of what I make. My friend was in the mall one time when someone walked up to him and told him he could be a model, and handed him a card, which I thought was fishy already. Then he just called me from the agency, because they were asking for 950 dollars and I immideatly said not to pay it, because you should not have to pay a modeling agency to represent you.

Is there any reason that you should have to pay a modeling agency?

I have always been told that i have a good singing voice but i have not really sang properly in so long it just been the old few words from a song playing on the radio u know! and ive done drama GCSE and was very highly commended for my performance of Twelth Night and i think that if im given the right amount of time to work on dancing i think i would be able to get buy.the thing is that ive never really went into a school production(as in open to the whole school,any one who wants to be in it can go 2 auditions) the auditions are in 3 days and i dont know if i should go for it.i do however find it quite hard to learn lines . what should i do ?

I am soo interested in acting. im fairly new but amazingly dedicated. i recently got talent scouted but i did a background check on them and turns out their not as legit as they say. i really want to start this exciting career not to be famous or something stupid like that, but just because i love it and i want to be apart of that life because i know its who i am. i want to get an agent, but i really need some help on how to get started and everything. and i also wanted to know a little bit about actors unions. does everyone on tv (like disney channel and other networks) apart of a union? im still just a teenager, but this is my life. please help me.

I've already thought of Romea and Juliet and Anastasia. We had already performed Beauty and the Beast only this February, and other years in our school performed Little Mermaid, Mulan, Miss Saigon and Annie. I need a play that can be done by a class of high school seniors with students of 38; casts, staffs, and propsmen included already. We'll submit the script by July, play in the elimination by August, and if we win, we'll perform in front of our whole school by December.
