Manager or talent manager?

just asking if you guys know any actor manager or talent manager in uk or us.

There are tons of managers, but in all honesty if you don't have a career yet then you don't need one. The reason to hire a manager is because you have a career to manage. Otherwise you'll be paying someone 15% of your meager begining salaries for nothing. Get an agent first and wait until you're firmly established.

If you want to find a legitimate agent to represent you go to Sag.org. Use the dropdown menu on the right labeled 'resources' and choose 'agent information'. On the next screen, on the left choose 'Find a SAG franchised agent' and follow the directions. This is for the US by the way.

Then you can send out your headshot, resume, and a cover letter stating that you are seeking representation and wait to see if they call you in for an interview.

same thing an agent does. looks,talent, experience. their pretty much no different than an agent other than they might know people the agent doesn't. and they get 15% instead of 10%.
