All right, so I just auditioned for a musical and got turned down for a lead. I don't mean to sound stuck up or anything, but I *know* that I was better than most of the people there. The thing is I get so nervous when I have to sing in front of people that it doesn't sound as good as when I rehearse it. I'm really sick of being turned down for good parts because my nerves get in the way. Any suggestions?

I want to go to a open call and make an audtion tape for a reality TV show for people 50 pounds overweight. I don't know what to enphasise in my audtion. Personality, humour, and talent or my personal struggles with weight issues. Does anyone have any advise? Or, even just general advise for this type of audition? (I have audition experience for theater.)

I'm 13 and I used to be in an acting placemeant center. We did a showcase, but with only 10 LA agents, because it was a small one. I got a callback from a commercial/modeling agency in LA. I think I'm in it because I gave them my resume/headshots, but my resume was almost blank......I never got a call for auditions or anything....help?

I live in Los Angeles and from what i've heard, Los Angeles used to have a thriving Broadway row where much theatre occurred. Now LA is saturated with 35 screen Megaplexes. I don't know if that's true with every major city (except New York which seems to have a large theatre community). But is theatre just not hip for today's Americans? Is theatre dying slowly?
