I am doing Makeup for a theatrical production of "The Full Monty".
I need to age an African American male about 30 years. He has dark chocolate colored skin. I asked this before and it got removed, I have no idea why, it's an innocent question. The show is in a large theater and we open in a week and a half so I need help asap. Thank you

I put another headshot of myself that I took on my Yahoo 360. It's obviously not professional, I know. Is this one okay? (I'm a student. I am mainly a musician-a soprano- but I've done some theatre work as well.)

I don't know what my problem is. I cannot speak in front of a group of people without my voice quivering so badly that it sounds like I'm about to start crying. I can't control it. It's embarassing and I need to fix this problem.

Like most people, I do get somewhat nervous getting up to speak in front of an audience, but even if I feel great and totally calm when going up, my voice will still quiver! My shaky voice, in turn, makes me feel self-conscious and less confident, AND THAT'S WHEN I START TO LOSE IT! Before I know it I'm forgetting my points, tripping over my words, and I end up feeling like a complete failure. And it's all because of my SHAKY VOICE! How can I work on this???

P.S. I am not an actor, but I'm putting this question in this particular category hoping that there are some tricks of the trade that you can share. Thank you so much!

I took them myself to use before I get professional ones done. I am a student and so I would only need them for the occasional audition. The pictures are on my 360 page.

Are these okay?

Please don't. it's too fishy that yhe specificly wants a FEMALE ages 11-13 years. I am a parent that does not like that one bit.
And get this? He wants to know the NAMES! If he is older, and its supposedly about a " project" for class, why use a young kid?
parents, back me up on this one. : (

My youth group is hosting a "soup"er bowl party (church comes together watches game and and has worship/fun during commercials and halftime) My youth director asked me to come up with a 1 minute skit "commercial" based on the movie Click. He wants the remote to be able to control your youth director and any time (eg. shut them up, fast forward lessons, etc) I have teh general idea, but I am not very good at scripting. Much love to any and all help/suggestions! God Bless!

Wicked is one of the best broadways ever. The music, characters, the plot. It's just an all-around great broadway. But, I was wondering, do you think that they will ever make a movie out of it, or would it be a bad movie and be a disaster and waste of money?

Two college students, male and female, went into the Fine Arts building of their school on a Saturday evening in order to have a romantic adventure together. They sneaked on the stage of the school's theater and began Chapter One, and the pages started turning very rapidly!

Right before the, ahem, climax of their peculiar story, the curtain on the stage came up, and behold! The seats of the theater were filled with people dressed as if out for a formal evening of tasteful entertainment. Gowns. Black ties.

Well, needless to say the amorous couple were very embarrassed and slinked off-stage just as quickly as they could, snatching up their clothing on the run. The last thing they heard was a man in the audience, loudly asking, "Was that part of the play?"

At the last Robert Altman's movie, A Prairie Home Companion, there is a woman (Virginia Mandsen playing her) who it is said she is an angel. It seems the character is ambiguous and mysterious, to say the least. And HAUNTS the wings.

at my school, drama gets the back burner after EVERYTHING else... we dont get funding for anything, it all comes out of our own pockets and the royalties come out of our directors pocket... then we need guys constantly! we were gonna do tom sawyer with it revied so much that we only needed 5 guys and we couldn't get them! in a school of over 400 students and after dropping down to teh 8th grade boys for help.. we only ended up with 4 guys.. adn we had to beg one of them!

yet, we have more females than we'll ever need and none of us are suitable for pretending to be a man (physically, we all either have to large chests or to high of voices) and its insane!!! when we try to do fundraisers were sure will get money, we loose money! We have no auditorium or stage at all, we practice in the old gym (built in the 50's) that used to be the middle school gym, but now is for the cheerleaders to practice and for us to share.. but they REFUSE to let us move their stuff, so we have no room!!

in our cast, we have about 3 male actors that are dedicated.. thats it. the rest of the entire drama club is females.. i think, in teh actualy drama club, we have 5 experienced male actors and *does math in head*...13 experienced female actresses. and as far as newbies we have 2 newbie guys and about 8 newbie girls.... and after you get through the spring sports... our available cast is 2 experienced actors and 2 inexperienced and then 10 experienced girls and 7 new girls... and its nearly impossible to find a play that includes all of us interested... especally when the stats are 4 males and 17 females... we finally found one that we can do, but some of the new girls are getting bumped off (and a few experienced ones) because it calls for 4 guys and 9 girls.

Why can't playwrights do plays for female orriented casts? i know its possible! i could do it if i had the time!

specifically in Romeo and Juliet....
For example, is it that in the prologue it mentions how they're 'star-crossed lovers' and it is fate that drives them to their death - and is it dramatic irony when Romeo is referring to fate and the stars - is that correct example? help please....
one I know is when Juliet says 'O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo' This is dramtic irony as Romeo is there and the audience know this but Juliet does not... correct??
