At the end?-- The friar meets with a drugist and gets a potion for her. It's supposed to induce a death-like state. The plan is for her to take the potion, let her family find her, have the funeral and have her burried (alive) in the family tomb. Before she wakes up, the friar is supposed to go and get her out and take her to Romeo, telling Romeo everything.

Unfortuantely, Romeo hears that Juliet is dead, comes back to town, sees her dead (he thinks), and kills himself with a different potion. Juliet then recovers from the potion, wakes up to a (truely) dead Romeo. She's heartbroken and kisses him, hoping that there's enough poison left on his lips to kill her. When that fails, she takes his dagger and kills herself.

The two bodies are found by the friar. There ends up being a double funeral, where the prince of the town (mayor?) is sad that he'd been "winking" at the problem (turning a blind eye).

She told Romeo after the balcony scene that she would send Nurse to find him and see if he still wanted to marry her in the morning and if the friar had agreed to marry them. Romeo told the nurse that they would be married....that night? Maybe....well, a night very close. She was to tell her parents that she was going to the church to pray and instead she gets married.
