Theater & Acting - January 2007

My school is putting on their first play and have a modest budget. Where is there a good supplier of materials? We need colored smoke, strobes, costume and makeup supplies, lighting, and... a stage curtain.
The curtain is the most important part, so any info on suppliers would be appreciated.

I love to act. im very good and i can sing very well .let alone i can play guitar. im in highschool and ive been thinking and i really want to act as a profession. i dont really like or have interest in anything else. im a A+ student am i screwing myself over for following my dream. like insted becoming amazing at something wit my grades. like a doctor. should i follow my dream i cant think of anything to fall back on. i want to act but there is soo much uncertainty. i no not many ppl become amazing at this and famous but i wanna be the one to make. ill regret it if i dont follow my dream but i may regret later if it doesnt get me anywhere wat do i do

Does anywho know if there are any revival vaudeville venues anywhere in the world, particularly the United States? I know vaudeville fizzled out in the 1920s but I was wondering if there were still any places where it may have been revived sometime and they still did variety/vaudeville acts that you can see.
