I got this email from a producer of the show i volunteer to work on, just to get the credit.

"We need a stage manager for Dark of the Moon. Suzy, who was originally
going to be our stage manager, got a job with "Pirates of Penzance" so
not only does she have a real gig, but she's going to get her equity
card as well. We definitely can't begrudge her that!"

I was the Assit of the girl Suzy, so she left and i wanted to give all my free time to the show. One of the producer who wrote this email, told me they wouldn't hire anyone to replace Suzy b/c i am there already. And look at the email i got.

Please tell me what u think, b/c i think of giving it up and give my time to people who will appreciate it.

My school's doing Les Miserables for our spring show, and I've seen the show, but I'm not sure what part to audition for.

I'm a freshman, and I have a really good voice. I was voted 'Most Likely to be Famous' in 8th grade for my singing and acting, and let's just say I'm pretty talented for a freshman.

I was planning on auditioning for Young Cosette, since I'm young, and I figured they'd want someone young for her. But now they're going to our town's middle school to find someone really young to play that part.

I'm sure I won't get the part of Eponine (even though I can sing 'On My Own' great; I feel like my voice is most like Eponine's), or Cosette, or Fantine, or anything like that, because the seniors pretty much are guaranteed to get those parts.

What part do you think I should audition for? I'd like a decent part, and I can sing great as a mezzo, but I can also sing soprano really well. I just prefer to belt out songs :)

I was cast as a boy in a play set in the mid 1800's. ("Big River", a musical based on Huck Finn. I play a friend of Tom & Huck's)
My hair is about an inch or 2 above my shoulders, brown, and slightly curly. What are some things I could do with my hair to make it look like a boy's without cutting it. Thanks so much!

It is play within a play and might have been on the radio. The characters are about to listen to a religious service on the radio. They turn it on. "oh it's started" "we stand here, I think". Then the radio says something like "Let us pray for weevils and that round things roll". Obviously I think that it was a modern playwright [Wesker?] and was - perhaps - poking fun at the then tendency to get away from sacred language in church but can anyone give me any help to find it? I feel it's a forlorn hope but there is a wealth of educated talent out there!!
