You should go to the library (not online) and read some plays until you find one. It's hard for others to select appropriate material for you. One suggestion is to write an original monologue from the Prince's point of view. You could be holding the glass slipper and talking about searching for your princess.

Well Mark- It is the asker's option not to listen to me. However, I am a graduate of an acting conservatory in NYC, and have been in many auditions. Since the asker needed a monologue within the space of a few days, I was offering some options. I would not necessarily recommend writing a monologue for every situation, but for a student or community theatre production it can work. You will notice I did mention the library first.

don't listen to Royal Blue! Don't write your own.. never do that! I say search for serious male monologues on the web and you will find one that fits your personality!!
