I saw it in June of 2006, when Kristy Cates and Stacie Morgain Lewis were singing Elphaba and Glinda. Ticket prices range from $32.00 (upper balcony) to $90.00 (orchestra). Upper balcony seats aren't too shabby (I was with a bunch of my friends and we were all halfway broke, so we went for the cheap seats) but they are pretty far away from the stage, so if you end up with seats in that area I'd advise bringing binoculars or something along those lines so you can see everything more clearly.

The Ford Center's a really nice theatre. Drinks, etc. are pretty pricey, so you might want to consider slipping a bottle of water in your bag before you go in. And the restrooms get ridiculously packed during intermission, so if you don't want to miss the opening of Act 2, be prepared to elbow your way through a crowd. :]

Hope that helps, and enjoy the show!

Yes, just get the tickets and go! Call the theater for ticket prices. Advice? It's fairly straightforward. Get dressed, get in your car, and go there!
