lol I was in this play in middle school - I can be OCD about lists and I loved memorizing that gigantic list of colors in the song! (in the verses it just says "red and yellow and green and brown and blue" but in the end of the song it has this list of about 40 colors... red and yellow and green and brown and scarlet and black and ochre and peach and ruby...etc...)
It is an Andrew Lloyd Weber play (the guy who did phantom of the Opera and Cats) albeit an early one. I'm not a big Andrew Lloyd Weber fan but I do like "Joseph" - Pretty catchy stuff.
For some reason I had a song from this (go go go joseph) in my head yesterday when I was cleaning my kitchen!

Oh it's an amazing musical!! Our local theatre group did it last year and it was just great. Of course now I can't just say "Joseph's coat of many colors." My teacher gave me a really funny look when I called it "Joseph's Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat."

Yes! I was in it a while ago, and it has some spectacular music (It's an Andrew Lloyd Webber creation, so of course it is) And Donny Osmond is great in it.

this was a great musical. i was in it a few years back and had a blast. It has great music, keeps you in a light mood all through the show even when it gets serious for a brief minute.. I loved being in it and i love to watch it.

its an okay musical. i saw it when donny osmond was in it on broadway. so yeah it's okay.
