One of the best known facts about the Broadway musical Cats is that it is one which the entire family can watch and enjoy. The evidence of this can also be found in some movies where they have children singing parts of the Cats songs. Now even if a Broadway musical is very popular with adults, the songs from the play will seldom be used as a song by children.
The hit Broadway musical Cats has however defied this trend. As with many other great hits you will find that this musical is one that has had crowds coming in droves to see this great play. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical is one that is known to linger in the memories of all those people who have seen it.

Since you don't state any ages of any children this Q is obviously related to, certainly children will enjoy it if only for the costumes, music, and dancing.
It's ADULT, in the sense that it's heavy into metaphor and analogy, which some children may not GET.
Other than that It's likely one of A.L.W.'s best pieces of work, and a pleasureable way to spend family time.

Yes, there's nothing offensive but it's not necessarily a kid's show. You might want look into some of the other shows like Tarzan, Mary Poppins, etc....
