I have been doing plays since 6th grade. (I am in 8th grade.) I have been doing very well, but I will be moving this summer, and I am starting 9th grade in a whole new school. ok, well for the past few years ive really been thinking about what i would like to be. and my whole life ive always wanted to be an actress. i love the entertainment and putting smiles on peoples faces, and making people laugh, but i would always try to move on to something else because i always thought "oh, that could never happen to me" because im from a small town and i just thought the odds of me being a famous actress were just nothing. i thought i had no chance. but lately ive been thinking about what ive been wanting to do, and being an actress would just always pop into my head. and something would just keep telling me too try acting.. so ive come to the decision to try it. the chances are very slim, but i am willing to work hard to be it. and i know there will be alot of failures and disapointments along the way, but this is something i really want to do, and i am willing to try.. so do you know of any acting places i can get in contact with to help me??

Im a recent graduate of Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts and I would absolutely love to get involved in doing makeup in theatre. However the ones I went to and asked about were either too small to have a makeup artist or union. I know theres got to be theatres around that need me. I know the best way to get a makeup artist job is networking but I dont know too many people out here cause I just moved all the way from Wisconsin. Can anyone help me out on telling me who, what, where or how I can find the job Im dreaming about? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

How old do you have to been to been an extra in a movie or on television? And how often do they need young people for extras because am 13 and i really want to get into acting in films or tv?
