Im a recent graduate of Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts and I would absolutely love to get involved in doing makeup in theatre. However the ones I went to and asked about were either too small to have a makeup artist or union. I know theres got to be theatres around that need me. I know the best way to get a makeup artist job is networking but I dont know too many people out here cause I just moved all the way from Wisconsin. Can anyone help me out on telling me who, what, where or how I can find the job Im dreaming about? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

For my money, if you want a job in theatre, whatever that job might be, you'd better go to NYC, honey.

Call the theatres where you live and ask if you can do make-up for them.
