I have been told ever since I was young that I have a great voice or I should be on the radio, or do commercials or voice overs. I am now 35 and really interested in pursuing this opportunity. OK, aside from songs from Gypsy and I Know Things Now from Into The Woods... can anyone think of a song that a young girl age 8-10 might sing or adapt to sing from a Sondheim show? By adapt I just mean change a word or two if the meaning is not age appropriate or can't be 'played' childishly. Thank you!

I am 19. I've never acted in any productions, and I'm usually kind of afraid of public speaking. I think, though, that acting may be a way for me to break out of my phobia and become something of an artist as well. I wonder if I'm too old, though, to start acting. Thoughts?

I am an actress, I do not have an agent yet but I am getting head shots in the next few weeks to send to agents
I found a web sight with a bunch of info on shows but only some have the adresses to the casting directors
but they all have the info for the production companys
I was wondering can you send your resume to the production company to look at and see if they like you or just the casting directors?

Ok well the thing is, I want to be an actress when I grow up ( well ok, right now would be good too) but my mom won't let me really. She wants me to do school first, shich of course I want to do too because well, being stupid isn't that cool in my opion. Well anyways. I recently bought tickets to a broadway show and the seats are on the side of the theatre in the rear of the orchestra section.....if the tickets are obstructed view, would it say so on the tickets themselves? Or is there no way of knowing until i get to the theatre and sit down? It is difficult to tell by viewing the seating chart online.......is there any way to research this?
