I am having a hard time deciding which of these musicals I would rather audition for. Both are being performed at the same time and rehearsals would conflict, so I have to choose one! Which one, in your opinion, would be a better choice, which characters should I audition for, and explain your decision, if you could. I'm at a standstill, and unfortunately, my family isn't very theatre savvy. Help! :)

Ok so I am an actress I am not great but I am not terrible but I am trying to find casting calls to gain more expierience
I am 14 years old
I can act
I can sing some
and dance some

I need to know where can I find casting calls
and where can I find an agent
I am not going to pay for casting calls
and I will not pay for agents information
but I live in Plano Texas
can you please help
all I want to do is act but I cant seem to get that little start I need
I get an email for casting calls for community theater and alot of them arent for teens but the ones that are I go to
I really need adivce please help thanks

We are currently picking our high school musical and are down to these three. We will not pick something from outside these three.

Our best performer is a baritone. We also have a very good tenor, a comedic actor without much singing range, and another bass but very few other men. We could hopefully get another baritone, but he chose to do a production at a local playhouse instead last year

Our girls are very good at singing, musically we have no problem, but not as strong at acting.

As we rent our costumes, this should not be a concern.

Plz tell me the pros and cons of these productions with ides of how a high school could pull them off.

I really want to do a broadway musical next year because in the past we've been doing little made up musicals that never turn out well. What musical should we do that we either dont have to get the rights for , or we can get them easily. What do you suggest?

and i want to be apart of it. I love the songs that Tuptim sings, but i'm afraid of how much "romance" there actually is. i haven't seen the play and they don't really have any character sketches on the web (from what i found.) for anna, the audition is "whistle a happy tune" and sadly to say, i can't whistle. :D i'm not entirely ecstatic about lady thiang, but i don't know. what do you guys think?

hello im meghan im 19yrs old and im very fond of acting, i love musicals(oliver twist,chicago,ect) i have made hundreds of screen plays in my head, and would love to bring them to life, i even dream about it,..i know peolpe who are poor never really get a chance to show there skill because now and days the world revalves around money and not passion. it tears me apart to think that i could never get the chance to show what ive got,.. please if there is somone who can help me fulfill my dream???

Hey everyone.

Ever since i was little i have wanted to be an actress or a print model ( i too short for runway ) I have taken modeling classes, performed in school plays, and i even got accepted to IMTA in L.A. However, i was unable to go due to money.

Anyways, to get to the point, does anyone know where i can find a good agent in SW Florida, or does anyone know when any auditions are coming up??

I am auditioning for a musical theater college and I need a good audition song. I am an alto and the song needs to not be well known. I need to have 32 bars of music to sing, and I'm an alto. I feel comfortable singing higher for them (about up to a C, so long as it goes there, then gets back down to my normal range, instead of just being stuck there). I realize that in order to sing the music in the show, I need to be a bit higher, but for the audition, I just want to sound good, and singing by myself for the audition, I'm going to be extremely nervous, which will make it harder for me to sing too high... I was thinking maybe a show tune, but I just want to look professional and get my point across that I want a part and can sing it, so I'm not really sure... Any help would be much appreciated!
